HSK Exam Guide Asking for an HSK score review: fees, the 30-day window and what can happen
You can ask for an HSK score review online through the Chinese Tests Service Website, but only within 30 natural days after the release of test results. The official page prints three fees: CNY 150 for a single item, CNY 300 for a full HSK test, and CNY 200 per review for the HSK Speaking Test. If the reviewed score goes up, a new score report is sent and the review fee is refunded. If the score goes down or stays the same, the original score report can still be used.
Which tests and fees
The review page says score review is available for HSK and HSK Speaking. For HSK, you can ask for a review of individual components (listening, reading, writing) or of the entire test. For HSK Speaking, the review applies to the entire test.

Rules for applying
The review page sets these rules:
- You can apply within 30 natural days after the release of test results.
- Late application is not allowed.
- You do not have to send back the score report.
- Once the application is successfully submitted, it cannot be canceled or modified.
- You can apply for a score review only once for the same test.
The regulation page says candidates who doubt their results can apply by logging into the My Account section of the Chinese Tests Service website.
While a review is in progress, your scores are suspended. During this period you cannot check scores online. You also cannot apply for additional score reports or other services. The original score report cannot be used during this period.
What happens after you apply
The review page lists three stages:
- The application and the relevant fee are received.
- Members of the Expert Panel on Review re-score the results of your original responses.
- You can check the review result on the Chinese Tests Service Website within 15 working days after successful payment.

The results section names a refund only for a higher score. It does not give a delivery time for the new score report.
The mailing address comes from the information you give. If delivery fails because the delivery information is wrong or your address has changed, the page says you are responsible for any problems that follow.
Where to check status
You can log into your personal account at any time to check the status of the review service and the mailing information for a new score report. The page says the system sends email notifications when the review service commences, concludes, etc.
The page also gives an email address for score review consultation. This site does not reproduce it, so please take it from the official page. This site does not accept applications and cannot show your result.
