HSK Exam Guide About this site
This site explains the HSK test in plain language and ties each number to the official page that states it.
Not an official site
Unofficial information site. It is not run by Chinese Testing International (CTI) or the Center for Language Education and Cooperation. It takes no registrations and shows no results: register and look up scores only on chinesetest.cn.
How the information is checked
Test rules are taken only from the Chinese Tests Service Website (chinesetest.cn), run by Chinese Testing International, and from documents of the Center for Language Education and Cooperation. Study-in-China requirements come from the Ministry of Education and the China Scholarship Council. Each page shows the date its sources were checked. Where an official page is silent, we say so instead of guessing. The site publishes no pass rates and promises no result.
When the official page changes
Dates, fees and formats change, and HSK 3.0 starts in December 2026. If anything here differs from the current official page, the official page is right.
Who runs the site
The site is operated by UNILINK EDUCATION PTY. LTD, an education consultancy with operating entities in Australia, China and the United Kingdom, which advises students on study applications, including study in China. Reading the site is free. Fees for any advisory service are not set out here; an adviser's reply is the reference.
Privacy
The site has no accounts and asks for no personal details. The level finder runs in your browser and sends nothing to us. No advertising or tracking cookies are set. Pages are delivered through Cloudflare, which processes technical request data such as IP address and browser type in order to serve and protect the site. Links to official pages open on those organisations' own sites, which have their own privacy policies.
