Ordering extra HSK score reports for applications
You order extra HSK score reports in the My Account section of the Chinese Tests Service website. You can apply after the test results are announced. The fee is CNY 80 per copy, excluding postage fees, and you can request up to 10 score reports for a single exam.
Fees and dispatch times
The additional score report page gives two options.
| Option | Fee | Dispatch time |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | CNY 80 per copy (excluding postage fees) | Within 5 working days after CTI receives your application and related fees |
| Expedited | Additional fee of CNY 50 per copy (excluding postage fees) | Within 3 working days after CTI receives your application and related fees |
The page calls the CNY 50 an additional fee. It does not give a combined total for the expedited option.
Courier fees and delivery address
You pay the courier fees for sending score reports. The courier depends on where the reports go:
- International, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan destinations: DHL
- Destinations in mainland China: SF Express
The shipping address is the one you give when you apply. It may include, but is not limited to, the admissions institution, your employer, relevant Chinese teaching units, other institutions, and your personal address.
If delivery fails because the delivery information is wrong or your address has changed, you will bear the associated responsibility.
Who can apply and how many copies
The page says that examinees can use their score reports as evidence of Chinese language proficiency for purposes such as school admissions, graduation, employment, and promotion. Extra copies are offered for that use.
You can apply after the test results are announced. The additional score report page does not give a date for the announcement. Ask the test centre for that date.
Each examinee can request up to 10 score reports for a single exam. The test regulations page gives the same maximum of 10 for a single application.
To apply, log in to the My Account section of the Chinese Tests Service website. The regulations page says detailed instructions are in the Additional Score Report Application section of the same website.
You need your admission ticket information to apply. The admission ticket step on the Chinese Tests Service website says you must keep your admission ticket after the test, because you need it to print or collect your score report. It also says you need your admission ticket information to check results online and to apply for additional score reports and other score services.
The additional score report page does not mention a certificate. It does not say whether a score report is the same as an HSK certificate. Ask the test centre about that.
